Education required: You are regularly enrolled in a Bachelor/Master in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Bio engineering,... in anEducational Establishment located in Europe.
Language requirement : You speak French and English (minimum professional level), Italian or German are a plus.
Other requirements : You have a general knowledge of the steps involved in manufacturing a vaccine. You have a capacity for organization and long-term projection.
Expected start date : August or September 2024
Duration of the internship : 6 months to 1 year
Requisite : The internship must be mandatory & done in the framework of the curriculum, for which an agreement must be signed between GSK, the student and the Educational Establishment.
Remuneration: according to Belgian legal requirements, the internship will not be paid. However, some expenses will be reimbursed.

Your mission
Your responsibilities/activities will be:
• Understanding secondary Formulation process at GSK
• Understanding of the future formulation challenge for the industry with concepts like closed system and continuous process.
• Help the Formulation platform leader to design, prepare and deployed the platform through the formulation network.
• Understand and deploy, according to a project management methodology, an improvement or innovation project impacting the entire GSK secondary network.
• Test in laboratory several new technology or concept in collaboration with other global team (R&D, GSK expert, manufacturing)
• Propose a phased schedule for the deployment of this project.
• Implement the communication/governance plan
• Determine priorities and propose a roadmap / schedule over several years.
• Ensure the follow-up and reporting of tasks to the leadership team or other global governance.
• Participate actively and share the project evolution during the formulation community of practice.
• Participate in the various workshops related to this project (trouble shooting, development, ...)
This internship will allow you to:
• Develop your knowledge of project management (budget, resources, planning) on a multi-site, multi-product project.
• Develop your autonomy and leadership on cross-functional tasks
• Develop your international network.
• Improve your language level
• Participate in the implementation of large-scale projects.
• Learning to communicate to convince in an international context
• Deepen your scientific knowledge of vaccines.
