FlyBy is the fastest growing flight academy in Europe, located in Burgos, Spain. FlyBy is an Approved Training Organization registered with the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority and recognized under EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).
FlyBy operates a fleet of 42 airplanes and 3 simulators.
The ideal candidate will join the team that manages the full scope of our CAO Maintenance facility.
Responsibilities
* Manage all CAO maintenance matters: Spanish CAA (AESA) audits and communications, scheduled and non-scheduled matters, managing the team.
* Manage day to day duties to maintain the continuing airworthiness of the aircrafts (maintenance programs, work orders, technical documentation, replacement parts, life limited parts status, etc)
* Compliance with airworthiness directives or service bulletins
* Defects and repairs reporting
* To ensure good coordination of the different stakeholders (CAMO, ATO and CAO)
* To deliver on time, cost controlled and quality standards.
* Compliance with applicable regulations
* Quality Assurance responsability.
* Liaise with Civil Aviation Authority
* Leading the launch of our Part 147 training division

* Advance level in English and Spanish
* Good communication skills

* Ability to learn quickly and implement/make changes, if needed.
Experience, Technical Requirements & Qualifications
* Must hold the right to live and work in the EU. No visa sponsorship available.
* Min 3 years relevant aviation proven experience
* Experience in aviation maintenance of piston airplanes. Ideally Tecnam P2002, P2006, PS28 Cruiser, Cessna 172, Piper PA28 and SuperDecathlon
* Required level of knowledge (Part-CAO is essential)
* Meet EASA requirements for the position.
* Ideally EASA B1.2 and/or B2 licensed engineer.
* Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
