Research Consultant
Full time position based in Brussels

Our team brings together experts working across a wide spectrum of sectors including health, climate resilience, social innovation, digital transformation, circular economy, among others. Beyond consultancy, Kveloce is also a research performing organisation, actively contributing to international R&I projects through in house expertise, applied research, and stakeholder engagement. As we strengthen our international presence, were looking for passionate individuals ready to contribute to European excellence and global transformation in our Brussels office.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Implementing LCC and Social LCA in R&D EU funded projects
* Evaluating consumer and end user acceptance, and behavioural change
* Designing and implementing public engagement strategies and multi actor approach methodologies
* Analysing and designing circular business models
* Supporting other research areas such as ethical procedures, capacity building, policy recommendations, dissemination, etc.
* Researching and understanding the priorities and objectives of the European Unions research, development, and innovation programmes
* Identifying funding opportunities and developing competitive proposals
* Attending relevant networking events and liaising with key stakeholders and partners
Qualifications and experience:
* A bachelors or masters degree, preferably with a focus on social or environmental sciences. A PhD is an asset
* At least 2 years of research experience in relevant fields related to the job responsibilities
* Solid knowledge of European Union funding programmes, particularly Horizon Europe
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office digital tools; familiarity with AI tools is a plus
* Excellent command of spoken and written English (C1 level or equivalent). Other European languages are an advantage
* Technical scientific merits (e.g. articles, papers, and publications where the candidate appears as author/co author) are considered a plus
* The ideal candidate is comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team, where strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The successful applicant must be able to meet tight deadlines, demonstrate leadership and management capabilities, and show flexibility and initiative in handling diverse tasks.
