For our office in Brussels, we are looking for an enthousiastic Business/Functional Analyst!
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business/Functional Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into functional specifications. This role involves collaborating with various departments to support the delivery of banking solutions and improving operational efficiencies.

* Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to understand and document business needs, workflows, and system requirements.
* Functional Specifications:
Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable functional specifications, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals, processes, and regulatory requirements.
* Process Mapping & Improvement:
Analyze current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to optimize operations and enhance customer experience.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
* System Testing & Validation:
Develop and execute test cases to validate that system functionality meets business requirements. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and document results.
* Change Management & Documentation:
Support the change management process by documenting new processes, workflows, and system enhancements. Assist with training and knowledge transfer to business users.
* Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities to improve business processes, drive innovation, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the banking operations.
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Education:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
* Experience:
A first experience as a Business or Functional Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services industry. Experience in banking systems and financial products is highly desirable.
* Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reporting tools and business process modeling tools. Experience with banking software systems (e.g., core banking, CRM, loan management systems) is an asset.
* Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze complex data and processes.
* Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Project Management Skills:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
* Languages:
Dutch or French and English are mandatory. Proficiency in both languages is preferred.
