The Project Engineer Line will collaborate on electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70 and 36kV) regarding overhead lines.
As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in the Engineering department. You will be responsible for the technical implementation of projects as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will safeguard the coherence and quality of designs and monitor the functionality of projects. You will proactively detect the consequences of new concepts on project operations and will take the necessary actions to ensure that the implementation proceeds as planned.
This includes the following:
• You will work in close cooperation with Project Leaders and with colleague Project Engineers. This with a technical focus. The Project Leader has an organizational focus within a project.
• You are actively involved in the entire project process, from feasibility study (conceptual) to project closure. You are the key figure between the design team, the technical experts and the Project Leader.
o You contribute to the technical elaboration of the projects' scope and design, where you carry out various technical studies.
o During the detail study, you will guide the design team and ensure that the studies are carried out qualitatively and according to the agreed scope.
o During the tendering and execution phase, you will assist the Project Leader with technical support.
• You will communicate and report on the progress of the project.
Within the Engineering Department, there are several Project Engineering (PE) disciplines, each with its technical specificity:
• PE Lines (subject of this service request): with a focus on overhead lines and towers for connections between substations.
• PE SUB: with a focus on HV components within the substation and utilities (equipment buildings) and distribution of low-voltage power (400Vac and 110Vdc).
• PE PAC: with a focus on protection and automation systems and control systems
• PE CW: with a focus on foundations and buildings
Profil :
• A master's degree in engineering or equivalent through experience and a strong interest in engineering with focus on electromechanics, electrotechnics and energy.
• A knowledge of electricity grids will be an advantage.
• A good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.
• Have the analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Possessing a driver's license.
