Nutripack Olen, a subsidiary of Groupe Impact, is a specialized production site in the manufacturing of packaging solutions through thermoforming molding for the food industry (bakeries, chocolate factories, and agri-food businesses, among others).
The site currently employs around ten people and aims to grow.
The Quality Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager and will therefore be part of the Management team.
Responsibilities:
You will be operationally responsible for the quality assurance system at the Olen production site, both in terms of the day-to-day management of quality on the ground and the development and implementation of strategy and improvement initiatives.
Your various tasks will be as follows:
You will be responsible for quality in the field:
1. Handling non-conformities and complaints with suppliers and customers
2. Associated preventive and corrective actions
3. Updating the quality manual, procedures and work instructions
4. Field audit and control
5. Monitoring of KPIs
You are responsible for the quality system and its audits: BRCGS packaging, customer audits, authority audits, etc.
1. Implementing, carrying out and operating controls linked to the safety of products intended for the food industry (hygiene monitoring of workshops and staff, microbiological analyses, etc.)
2. Using the results of indicators linked to food hygiene and safety (quality of incoming goods through to outgoing goods and the hygiene of machines and the plant)
3. Proposing actions to improve our food product safety system
4. Carrying out internal and external audits (customers, official bodies)
5. Managing the monitoring of the site's environmental regulations (in liaison with the authorities: environmental permits, waste quantity declarations, noise regulations, water consumption, etc.)
6. Carrying out various quality tasks: initiating and managing quality improvement projects, monitoring current regulations, working with other departments (production, engineering, planning/supply chain, maintenance, safety, HR, R&D, etc.)
7. Setting up flows and standards of order and cleanliness on the site
Profile required:
With a higher education qualification in quality and/or food safety, you will have at least 5 years' relevant professional experience in quality assurance in the food or packaging industry. Experience of quality systems is required.
You are familiar with the BRC standard.
You are a hands-on person, recognised for your ability to unite people, your commitment and tenacity. You know how to create links and raise awareness/train stakeholders about the importance of quality processes in production.
Rigour, organisational skills, an ability to summarise and a real capacity to challenge are all required to succeed in this role.
You have a good command of the Office Pack and are comfortable using IT tools. Dutch is the language spoken on the site. Given the Group's international dimension, English is a must. Fluency in French is an advantage.
You have a particular interest in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) issues.
