What will you be doing in this role:
* The planning, implementation and management of assigned projects in accordance with the appropriate institution's regulations, project management policies and procedures
* Develop business cases (procurement strategy, risk analysis, project proposals) to secure funding
* Ensure quality assurance, coordination, and management for successful project delivery
* Take responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution
* Deliver projects within defined Scope, Time, Cost and Quality tolerances, reporting regularly
* Allocate resources, monitor KPIs, and take corrective actions as needed
* Manage risks, issues, and project cash flow while contributing to financial planning
* Support the annual and multi-year Business Planning and forecasting through accurate project estimates
* Supervise teams in a direct or matrix environment
* Lead meetings and conferences with team members, internal/external stakeholders and customers
* Maintain realistic project plans and ensure accurate communication to stakeholders
* Ensure high-quality, up-to-date project documentation
* Participate in other project management related activities
* Ensure project and risk plans remain up-to-date in Enterprise Business Applications, providing regular maintenance and technical support
* Deputize for senior staff and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
* Bachelor’s degree from a nationally recognized university in a related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience (or, exceptionally, 10 years of progressive expertise in lieu of a degree).
* Formal Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP) or equivalent expertise and experience.
* At least 3 years of recent Project Management experience in a large-scale IT organization.
* Experience in planning, design, system engineering, and implementation of C4ISR communication systems.
* Knowledge of Deployable CIS network design, switched multimedia networks, and relevant international standards.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, with tact, diplomacy, and good briefing skills.
Desirable:
* Proven leadership in C4ISR acquisition projects
* ITIL Foundation Level Certification
* Engineering background with technical leadership experience.
* Experience with Project Management automation tools (ServiceNow) and collaboration platforms.
* Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
* Active NATO security clearance at the time of application.
