What the key tasks will look like
As a Service Desk Agent, you are the first point of contact for all first line IT questions and technical issues. To be more specific, you are responsible for the availability, daily operations, and technical support of IT equipment and assist all DKV employees in the use of these tools. Due to the requirement of shift attendance, flexibility is an absolute must have.
Incidents & Service Requests:
* In this position, you will be responsible for detecting and recording all incidents that come in to the service desk.
* You will resolve these incidents yourself or refer them to the appropriate expert.
* You will also handle support and service requests and engage external parties when necessary.
Management of the systems:
* You will ensure that the computer systems function optimally. Should problems occur, you solve them yourself or involve the Developer analyst or system engineer.
* You actively communicate any errors and are responsible for the daily shutdown procedures and processing of AS400 data.
* In addition, you perform hardware troubleshooting, manage user accounts in both AS400 and Active Directory, and manage email addresses and backup procedures.
Support users:
* You advise users on the use of specific DKV programs and prepare documentation for support.
* You will also be responsible for replacing computers, installing software and preparing installation procedures.
Required skills and competencies
1. You have an upper secondary education or equivalent by experience.
2. We are looking at minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. You are fluent in French and Dutch. English is a strong plus.
4. You master the following technical skills: Microsoft Windows client (Windows 10 and 11) & Microsoft Office 365.
5. You have knowledge of the basic elements of a computer system.
6. You are a strong communicator and you are able to analyze a situation by asking
