Your mission as Business Developer at Ariad:

We are looking for a driven and passionate individual to join our team as a Business Developer. This role focuses on business development and growing new clients and markets in the staffing and recruitment industry, particularly in the Digital Customer Experience, Tech, and Business Transformation spaces.
In this role, you will be responsible for actively identifying and securing new clients, relentlessly prospecting to expand Ariad’s market presence. Your ability to build strong relationships and open doors will directly drive revenue growth and position Ariad as the go-to partner for digital talent solutions. While your primary focus is winning new business, you’ll also collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure clients get the right expertise when they need it. We’re looking for someone who thrives on the challenge of turning prospects into long-term partners and gets satisfaction from finding the perfect match between clients and candidates, knowing that you played a pivotal role in their journey.
What will you be doing?
Drive New Business & Prospect
* Identify and win new clients in Digital CX, AI, Data, and Tech consulting.
* Use a balanced approach—cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking—to fill your pipeline with opportunities.
* Establish yourself as a trusted market expert and go-to partner for talent solutions.
Grow & Manage Your Portfolio:
* Convert prospects into long-term clients and drive repeat business.
* Work closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists to match top talent with client needs.
* Oversee the processes from A to Z, guiding vacancy leads into vacancies and vacancies into placements
* Negotiate, sell, and close deals that drive revenue.
Stay Ahead & Win:
* Leverage industry insights to guide your business development strategy.
* Engage in the market—attend events, network, and use digital platforms.
* Hit and exceed targets—because success is about action, not luck.
What do you bring?
* A first solid experience in business development in the staffing, recruitment, or consulting industry.
* You have a keen interest in “all things digital”.
* You have a fervent interest in fostering customer-centric relationships, thanks to your finely honed communication and people skills.
* You are passionate about prospection and you're known for your commercial skills. You are always on the lookout for opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the team.
* You embody a persistent, go-getter attitude, dedicated to achieving "more-and-better" outcomes in every endeavor.
* You are data-driven. Numbers are your ally, you critically evaluate performance, uncovering the story behind the numbers, and showing initiative to make improvements.
* Your strong emphasis on prioritization and adept time management allows you to efficiently handle multiple tasks and commitments.
* In addition to being fluent in English, you bring a high level of Dutch proficiency to the table (French would be a plus).
