Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
In this challenging role you are responsible for arranging & tracking of orders of our
chemical water treatment dosing, measurement & control portfolio for primarily
North-East Europe. This allows our customers to reduce their water usage & improve their
energy efficiency. You provide support to the project and repair & maintenance team and
our commercial & service teams. Cost control and in time delivery are the main focus
points. The ITO & OTR Chemfeed support is a communication professional.
Specific responsibilities include:
● Comply with integrity and safety as required by Veolia policies
● Comply with Veolia WTS quality standards and initiatives
● Before a purchase order has been received:
o Provide ITO support for Chemfeed projects and maintain a working
knowledge of the ongoing Chemfeed projects.
o Generate processes to purchase materials needed to execute Chemfeed
projects.
o Develop and maintain relationships with preferred material suppliers and
contractors for project fulfilment and repairs & maintenance.
● After a purchase order has been received:
o Negotiate pricing with suppliers (if needed)
o Prepare the costing sheet as sold to the customer service department that
will process the order into SAP. Check if the order has been correctly entered
(correct delivery location, contract / std. order etc.).
o List the ordered items in the Chemfeed Tracker.
o Check delivery times with suppliers and keep Chemfeed team informed via
the Chemfeed Tracker files.
o Pre-book suppliers
o Update project status in project management tool (Smartsheet)
o Check if equipment received (in warehouse), sort & store materials per
project (in warehouse) and inform Project Management team for
pre-assembling
o Warehouse SAP stock control & flagging goods received.
o Contract management process and profitability tracking
o Provide sales forecast to Chemfeed Sales Leader NEE
o Liaise with Chemfeed Sales Leader NEE in case of priority setting
o Support delivery of documentation upon commissioning of these projects
o Alignment of processes with ISO 9001 and other certificates and
administration of the enquiries
● Communication is professionally with project team / commercial team / suppliers
● Primary work location is Herentals Belgium, with the option to work at home office
maximum 8 days per months.
● Participating in the local team meetings to share best practices
Qualifications
Qualifications preferred to do this role:
● Experience in an ITO & OTR ordering process.
● SAP order processing expert
● Self-directed and independent, excellent administrative skills.
● Excellent communication skills, fluency in Dutch and English, both orally and in
writing. German / French is a plus.
● Can do attitude.
● Ability to prioritise multiple tasks aligned with business and customer needs.
● You can work in a high-profile environment with clear targets & deadlines.
● Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
● Team player
Experience preferred to do this role:
2 - 5 years’ experience in SAP order processing
Skills preferred to do this role:
● Working organised and structured is in your DNA.
● Knowledge and proven ability in the execution of SAP order processing.
● Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Interacts well with external and internal stakeholders.
● Knowledge of water & process treatment technologies.
● Sales/Service aptitude
