Operations Learning and Development (L&D) Expert
Please note that DUTCH, FRENCH and ENGLISH are mandatory for this role as the idea is to create content and guide people in the languages used by our customers.
What you do
The Operations Learning and Development (L&D) Expert is placed within our L&D team and is directly reporting to the Regional L&D Lead.
The role is responsible for designing, implementing, executing and managing learning and development programs tailored to the operational needs of our organization across various locations and cross line of business.
The Operations Learning and Development (L&D) Expert collaborates closely with cross-functional teams (particularly regional quality team and LoB organizations) to identify training needs, develop relevant content, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality learning experiences to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our operational teams.
This role is essential in participating in the quality blueprint in order to integrate high-quality standards and processes description with the training pathway to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and drive the quality drivers awareness within the organization.
* Collect training needs through different sources: Operations (incl platform, transversal teams, central functions), LOBs, compliance, legal…
* design training contents or support materials.
* Ensure training contents are aligned with learning objectives and matching the LoB targets and ambition
* Training pathway: Identify key skills and competencies required to drive operational excellence with the other functions. Assess the required pathways to address the different population to be trained.
* Coordinate the training content creation with the right stakeholders
* Cooperate with Ops L&D regional and central level and manage localization of contents.
* Recruit and train “certified trainers” from the different function (mainly OPS platform). Maintain the pool of trainer community.
* Support local/regional implementation of learning management systems (LMS) or other technology platforms to facilitate learning delivery and track learner progress.
* Plan the training slot with local Workforce management team and Ops platform team leaders/managers.
* Training organization: plan the sessions logistic (invitation, classrooms reservation, administration…)
* Monitoring learning hours uploading hours that are not embedded in SF or Degreed (following HR Sharepoint process)
* Monitor the training impact results
* Monitor training evaluation from a quality perspective : build a close continuous improvement process to continuously adapt learning contents and targets as per concrete KPIs
* Monitor training evaluation from a trainee perspective (evaluation questionary, survey…)
* Develop and administer a Knowledge management system in order to improve the real time access to relevant materials
* Communicate our vision and ambition to platforms teams and managers including the crucial role of team leaders in employees development to initiate/maintain a deep Ops L&D culture.
* Participate to regional Ops community as a L&D expert and enrich global vision allowing to be impactful in strategical choices
* Innovation watch on education experts market, exchanges with pairs, enhancing of your knowledge of education best practices, tools and innovations
What you bring
* 5+ years’ experience in L&D as a trainer
* Strong knowledge of training environment and regulatory aspects
* Experience in executing large scale strategy with cross functions approach
* Strong customer satisfaction and process efficiency focus
* Deep understanding of different roles (Automotive and Medical Platform roles) and skills needed in operational activities
* Knowledge of education aspects to ensure relevant and impactful content creation
* Knowledge of creation tools : Powerpoint, Acrobate, e-learning creation tool… as well as animation tools : Slido, Forms…
* Fluency in French / Dutch and English
* Strong communication skills, team spirit and flexibility
* Ability to multitask and work in an international environment.
