As the Real Estate Coordinator of Sarens you’ll manage the existing, international realestate portfolio of Saron. A challenging job where you combine operationaltasks (administration, project management,…) with strategic thinking exercisesand negotiations. You’ll have a lot of variety and autonomy, internationalconnections and the opportunity to operate within Sarens as an expert in RealEstate.

Saronis the real estate company which owns most of the properties used by the SarensGroup (primarily land and industrial properties). Now we’re searching for a RealEstate Coordinator, someone who’ll manage all the real estate affairs.
Your job as a Real EstateCoordinator in a nutshell:
1. Completing the inventory of Saron’s real estate portfolio and the corresponding digital database
2. In collaboration with colleagues of Finance, making sure the rent is collected and taxes, insurance and maintenance bills are paid
3. Ensuring permit compliance and follow up of all real estate property related administration
4. Preparing reporting regarding occupancy rates, expiration dates of leases and other issues
5. Evaluating the portfolio and giving advice and insight in possible improvements/ adjustments
6. Communicating with important stakeholders both internally and externally, like shareholders, BU Managers, Facility Department, Legal Counsel,… to manage all real estate projects.
7. Expanding the real estate of Saron in function of the needs of the Sarens group and the upcoming projects. If necessary you’ll operate as a project manager who’ll call on local experts and partners. You’ll coordinate and follow-up the progress from A to Z with the help of local parties and specialists. The focus remains rather on the management of the existing real estate and less on the expansion.

In this function you’ll report to Matthias Sarens(RDD Manager, but also responsible for Saron operation activities). You willwork autonomously but you’ll receive support and guidance from a permanentconsultant with expertise. For specific matters you can also consult theexpertise of other internal departments (legal, finance, facilities,…).

We’re looking for a proactive and result driven team player who can work very autonomously. You’re an all-rounder withadministrative skills, financial insights and of course real estate expertise.You handle files quickly and correctly. You’re a critical person withanalytical skills with which you solve problems and draw meaningfulconclusions. Your strong communication skills and your diplomacy allows you toadapt to different situations and cultures and to establish strongrelationships.
The Profile Requirements:
9. Bachelor or master in Real Estate, Laws, Notary,…
10. At least 3 years of experience in a relevant position (for example as a real estate coordinator, legal, counsel,…). A clear link with real estate is required.
11. Fluent in Dutch, English and French (oral and written).
