We’re looking for a talented Junior Financial Corporate Tax Consultant to join our Tax & Legal Services department as part of our Tax Accounting team.
Your impact
* Corporate tax provisioning and forecasting.
* Preparation or review of IFRS, US GAAP or local GAAP reporting and other corporate income tax obligations and positions.
* Review annual corporate income tax returns or transfer pricing documentation.
* Audit income taxes: tax provisions from individual entities to consolidated multinational groups.
* Consulting and assistance with:
o Implementation of tax software or procedures to optimise the tax function;
o Mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing (e.g. business restructurings) and initial public offerings or other transactions.
o Implementation and review of the Global Minimum Tax (Pillar Two) to be applied by large multinational corporations; regulatory inquiries or audits by tax authorities.
o Review international tax planning and its impact on (consolidated) financial statements.
About you
* Master’s of (applied) economics, business engineering (e.g. management information systems), business administration, law or another discipline with a relevant economic major, possibly via a second master or a PhD degree.
* A qualification in tax is an added value. If you’ve not yet obtained one, you’re willing to take evening classes.
* Graduating this academic year or up to two years’ experience.
* Ability to analyse complex problems and present them in a concise form.
* Excellent writing skills.
* A born team player who likes to take the initiative.
* Well organised and can work towards tight deadlines.
* Agility in IT is a valuable asset.
* Able to work on your own and a good sense of responsibility.
* Client-oriented and good social skills.
* Interested in continually striving to deepen your technical know-how.
* Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
