About the role
Consumer Finance Product Lead is a new position to the development and management of the Spanish Consumer Finance business. This role will be critical to support the transformation of the company into a renewables and home infrastructure provider.
The role will have primary accountability for developing and managing the Spanish Consumer Finance Product range ensuring products are aligned to consumer needs, meet commercial expectations and meet the needs of the company installation/distribution businesses.
This exciting opportunity will see the role holder help build a new Consumer Finance business within the Spanish HVAC market which offers similar opportunities and challenges to working within the Fintech sector.
The role will report to the CFO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Developing new consumer finance propositions from inception to launchutilising the Consumer Finance EMEA platform. There will be significant collaboration with EMEA Product, Risk and Tech teams during this process.
* Once the initial business launch phase is complete the Product Lead will own and manage the complete product lifecycle from customer acquisition, in life management, and product portfolio management. This will include developing proposals for new products/product variants, reviews of existing products, and pricing (see below).
* Responsibility for product pricings its within this role. This requires a good understanding of the key commercial drivers of the product.
* Refine and improve the customer experience by identifying and delivering customer journey enhancements for installers as well as end consumers.
* Development and ownership of key product and customer performance metrics (KPls, Risk appetite, Success Criteria etc) and the Ml required to measure success.
* Develop strong working relationships across a number of Teams (incl EMEA Credit and Product) as well as with external partnersand that are crucial to the successful deliveryof the products.
* Embed into the business a culture of customer first with a strong emphasis on understanding customer needs and satisfaction including developing appropriate measures (NPS, CSAT, CES, survey capability) as well as developing appropriate customer segmentation and third party research.
* Build a strong compliance culture ensuring products, product governance, product and customer processes and supporting policies are compliant with applicable Spanish consumer finance regulation.
* Monitoring competitor and market developments in the fast moving area of renewables, consumer finance and Heating as a Service
OWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES TO BE CONSIDERED
Experienced as a SeniorProduct Manager within the Spanish market with Consumer Finance experience, preferably within Point of Sale. Regulated (POS Consumer Loans)or unregulated lending experience are both applicable.
Experience of developing and pricing new consumer finance propositions including experience working on consumer lending customer contracts.
Good understanding of customer and consumer lending regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the Spanish Market
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
Experience of managing stakeholders to deliver required changes as well as being able to support key strategic projects with a hands-on approach meaning the ability to produce business requirements and assessing testing results.
Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers, partners, and/or distribution channels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands on analytical experience (proficient in Excel as a minimum)
