We are a rapidly growing MedTech start-up, focused on developing a new generation of patient-specific, 3D-printed, biomaterial bone grafts. Our mission is to redefine the standard of care in bone grafting and patient-specific implants. Our solution is registered as a class 2b medical device under the MDR. The company has already performed over 100 surgeries on human patients. We are a diverse team of 10 passionate and highly driven individuals with expertise in life sciences, engineering, and business, representing various nationalities and languages.
We are currently looking for a Sales Manager/Director to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop the sales strategy, collaborating with the technical sales team and CEO
* Lead the sales function, managing the full sales cycle from lead to closing, working with clinical engineers for technical sales support and preparing quotes and offers
* Ensure diligent follow-up of leads (Key Account Management)
* Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions
* Work closely with the marketing team to drive marketing content and initiatives that support sales
* Continuously improve understanding of unmet needs to optimize sales
* Develop and lead a team of sales representatives and managers, create sales playbooks, sales processes, and reporting tools; manage initial distributor relationships
REQUIREMENTS
* Currently working as a sales manager/director for a medtech or biotech start-up or scale-up
* Significant experience with lead generation and insight sales
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
* Fluent in English and either German or French; proficiency in any other European language is a plus
* Business, bioengineering, or medical master's degree, with 3-5 years of professional experience
* Passionate about making a positive impact in healthcare and improving patient outcomes through innovative solutions
* High energy, positive attitude, and enthusiasm
* Versatile and flexible team player thriving in a collaborative environment
* Highly resilient and persistent
* Ability to achieve business and sales objectives through proactive listening, problem solving, and consultative selling, not an overly commercial attitude
* Practical, curious, and self-motivated
