What will you be doing?
At BDO, as an M&A / Financial Advisory Manager in our Deals and Valuation Advisory Department, you'll be instrumental in driving growth and cultivating strategic partnerships, identifying acquisition targets, and navigating complex M&A transactions with precision.
A week in the life of an M&A / Financial Advisory Manager might include:
1. Strategically identifying and evaluating potential acquisition / growth targets.
2. Crafting comprehensive business plans and advising on financing structures.
3. Cultivating and leveraging local networks to facilitate strategic alliances.
4. Conducting thorough due diligence and financial analysis to inform decision-making.
5. Providing expert guidance and leadership throughout the negotiation process.
6. Advising customers on optimization of the financing structure, funding of strategic projects and in preparation of financing requests.
7. Identifying post-integration or future performance improvement tracks.
What do you bring to the table?
1. Proven expertise in M&A and or financial funding transactions, with a solid understanding of deal structuring and execution.
2. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
3. Strong analytical skills, coupled with attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
4. Prior professional experience in banking, asset/fund management or financial advisory (corporate credit analysis, financial structuring, …) will be considered as an asset.
5. A university degree in finance or business economics, with a focus on M&A or related disciplines.
6. Proficiency in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
