You are in charge of structuring our Government & Public Assurance Services. As a Manager Audit, you assess the value of information, processes, and organization of Public Interest Entities.
You act as internal coordinator towards our Team, also in collaboration with our Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, as well as the Technology & Transformation practice in order to structure from the Assurance practice perspective our service offerings around Government and Public sector grant activities.
You can count on the support of our Deloitte network as well as our Belgian Audit & Assurance team. You drive the structuration project as lead role in collaboration with A&A partners.
Deloitte developed a unique method and offers a full range of services: statutory audits, consolidations, due diligence, assessments, mergers & acquisitions, internal audits, etc. You will work for a wide client base and in new teams which will broaden your career continuously.
Responsibilities
1. Effectively lead a team in planning, managing, and executing Audit engagements, within a risk-based environment and in an efficient and effective manner;
2. Act as a role model and mentor for less experienced members of the team, provide on-the-job training and develop talented team members through evaluation and counseling;
3. Develop effective business relationships with clients in order to identify, package, and deploy assurance services that help our clients grow and become more successful;
4. Define project structure and assess and ensure proper resource allocation;
5. Deliver projects on-time and on-budget;
6. Identify and effectively deal with risks, project extensions, etc.;
7. Maintain high quality and professional standards.
Let’s talk about you
1. You are experienced in audit with a special focus on Public Interest Entities.
2. You have 6-8 years of thorough working experience as an Auditor and managing a team of auditors;
3. You have a Master's degree, a full membership of an internationally recognized professional accounting association (ACA, ACCA, or CPA), and/or an auditor's license;
4. You have the ability to gather a team around a project and create a structure;
5. You are comfortable with process definition;
6. You have the ability to teach and provide insights to your team;
7. You have the ability to communicate clearly, persuade, and influence.
8. You are a real team player and have proven leadership and management skills;
9. You are result & client-oriented and demonstrate entrepreneurial flair, drive, and sales ability;
10. You have the ability to develop and coordinate the preparation of Deloitte templates around government grant activities;
11. Having prior experience of such engagement (assurance report on government grant such as ISAE or ISRS) is an asset.
12. You have excellent oral and written skills in English and French.
