And this is your chance to be part of the success story: we are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Artificial Intelligence & Analytics Team.
Your Role and Responsibilities
1. Conduct market research around trends in the Auto industry.
2. Collaborate with the policy team on policy creation for these countries, providing local context as needed.
3. Perform meta QC and random checks to identify quality issues.
4. Create a country metric for quality and conduct in-country drives to provide feedback and data to client working groups.
5. Act as the owner for the country for queries from any other team regarding basemap features other than Transit.
6. Curate region-specific implicit/statutory speed limits and rules.
7. Research news articles, notices from government/highway construction/other agencies regarding scheduled maintenance/repair.
8. Identify edge cases that might get missed.
9. Identify gaps in algorithms.
10. Provide inputs to prioritize issues proactively, using local knowledge.
11. Support proactive outreach with government and transit authorities to understand upcoming changes and systematic issues with our data.
12. Assist partnerships and other outreach teams with local knowledge and context as needed.
13. Consult on all sign types to provide local context and understanding and interpretations of various road signs.
14. Assist with quality assurance and country certification processes to ensure the highest quality level is reached and maintained in the assigned country.
Experience / Skills
* 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry or Urban planning, Traffic/Transit/Signals/Signages.
* Strong understanding of market research methodologies and techniques.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local language and in English.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
