Department Overview
As part of the Human Resources team, the Talent Acquisition Officer will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a strong, capable workforce aligned with business needs. You will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and ensure a seamless recruitment process while contributing to employer branding and internal HR objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements
* Source, screen, and evaluate candidate profiles
* Conduct in-person and phone interviews
* Administer assessments and coordinate background/reference checks
* Present shortlisted candidates and provide hiring recommendations
* Organize and schedule interviews with hiring managers
* Maintain proactive follow-up throughout the recruitment lifecycle
* Act as a brand ambassador by effectively communicating company culture, benefits, and values
* Maintain and manage recruitment pipelines using an ATS
* Build and nurture strong relationships with external partners (agencies, universities, etc.)
* Stay updated on organizational structure and relevant labor regulations
Secondary Responsibilities
* Support HR reporting and recruitment analytics
* Manage stakeholder expectations and feedback loops
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment
* Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Workday experience is a strong asset
* Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experienced in leveraging LinkedIn and other platforms for sourcing
* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities independently
* Proven negotiation and decision-making skills
* Knowledge of Belgian employment legislation is a plus
Education & Certification
* Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
