Join Sodexo as our Global Head of Scientific Services, a unique global leadership role that shapes the future of scientific service delivery across our partnership with GSK. You will lead transformative initiatives, ensure operational excellence, and drive innovation in a global context, with a particular focus on supporting GSK’s cutting-edge R&D operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement Sodexo’s global scientific services strategy within the GSK account, expanding our services portfolio and optimizing delivery for R&D and beyond.
2. Operational Excellence: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring high standards of compliance, quality, and operational integrity in laboratory services.
3. Growth & Innovation: Identify and lead opportunities for growth within a complex, dynamic stakeholder environment, supporting Sodexo’s Life Science clients globally.
4. Data-Driven Decisions: Deploy Sodexo’s Asset Management Framework (AMF) to manage and analyze critical data that informs client decision-making and enhances efficiency.
5. Global Delivery Oversight: Oversee and ensure excellence in services such as laboratory support, instrument calibration and maintenance, technical stewarding, and media preparation.

What You Bring
1. Educational Background: Degree in a relevant scientific field is a minimum; further education is a plus.
2. Technical Expertise: Significant experience in scientific service delivery or operational design, with knowledge spanning Lab Services, LIS, and TLS.
3. Leadership Excellence: Proven track record in managing complex projects, leading diverse teams, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
4. Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and French, other languages are an advantage as you will travel.
5. Strategic Mindset: Expertise in procurement, contract negotiation, and operational transformation.
