To strengthen our Information Technology team, based in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of IT Lead – Project Delivery (ES)
About The Role
Being member of the IT Early Solutions (ES) team, the primary objective of the role is to lead the delivery of technology initiatives aligned with the Early Solutions strategic priorities.
Apply understanding of technology in life sciences research and IT strategy & architecture to ensure that the selected solutions are fully aligned with the application, data and broader technology strategy.
Lead highly streamlined, multi-disciplinary IT teams to deliver end-to-end data and technology solutions, platforms and services.
Engage (pro-)actively and work collaboratively with colleagues in Early Solutions to deeply understand the needs and opportunities to augment/accelerate science. Keep the close connection with the ES stakeholders all along project/program execution in order to efficiently address risks and issues.
What You’ll Do
This entry-level role will progressively develop following competencies:
1. Manage projects and/or programs: Drive projects/programs from strategic planning through execution and closure, ensuring successful delivery of advanced technology initiatives.
2. Apply project management methodologies: Utilize agile and waterfall methodologies, including GxP requirements where applicable, to manage scope, schedule, cost, and stakeholders effectively.
3. Pro-actively track and communicate project status, identifying interdependencies, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
4. Drive decision-making: Actively facilitate decision-making processes to ensure successful project delivery. Leading Steering Committee meetings as necessary.
5. Inspire project teams: Motivate and lead project teams by setting a positive example and fostering collaboration.
6. Innovation exploration: Proactively explore the external and internal opportunity space, build business cases and pitch them confidently to relevant stakeholders in Early Solutions.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
7. Master's degree.
8. Have an initial hands-on experience (e.g. through internship experience) in advanced IT technology project and program management, including end-to-end responsibility for project delivery
9. Demonstrate the ability to combine business knowledge with technical expertise, particularly in the Life Sciences and biopharmaceutical R&D domain.
10. Showcase strong written and oral communication skills.
