Mission
As part of our team, you will contribute to the development of Fluxys' new H2/CO2 activities and achieve related marketing and commercial objectives in Belgium and adjacent markets. You will identify market needs, support the definition of new services, promote and sell our new service offerings, and act as the central contact point for managing commercial activities with customers, prospects, and counterparties.
Responsibilities
New services development
* Understand the value chain of the H2 and CO2 markets, and monitor their behaviour and trends.
* Collaborate with the business development department to develop market solutions and services.
Sales Generation and Customer Management
* Identify and contact prospects, providing expert information on services offered and identifying specific needs.
* Actively market and sell services to existing and new customers.
* Ensure the day-to-day management of contracts for a portfolio of customers.
Contractual Set-up
Support the Legal team and negotiate with prospects and customers to establish the legal framework for services, aiming to expand the customer portfolio and meet sales targets.
Commercial SPOC for adjacent TSO’s
Act as the single point of contact for adjacent Transmission System Operators regarding the application or review of interconnection agreements or joint commercial developments.
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with internal stakeholders (marketing, gas flow, capacity simulations, metering) and the commercial departments of Fluxys’ subsidiaries to address questions from customers, prospects, or third parties.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Engineering, Economics, or a related field
* Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in business development or commercial roles, preferably in the energy industry
* Deep interest in and understanding of the energy sector
* Strong analytical thinking skills
* Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning

* High level of commitment, accountability, and drive to achieve results
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

* Proficiency in English, Dutch and/or French. Knowledge of German is a significant asset
