Tasks
As the Business Unit Manager, you'll be at the forefront of establishing and growing our IT services division in Sri Lanka. This pivotal role involves managing the first wave of employees, spearheading the recruitment of new talent, and ensuring the provision of outstanding IT support to our internal teams. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our IT services, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and familial warmth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and Grow: Steer our nascent team towards success, overseeing operations, and ensuring the growth of the IT services business unit.
2. Recruit and Inspire: Actively recruit, train, and mentor new colleagues, building a cohesive and high-performing team.
3. Strategic Vision: Employ an entrepreneurial approach to develop strategies that enhance service delivery and drive business growth.
4. Stakeholder Management: Provide exceptional service to internal customers, ensuring their IT needs are met with innovative solutions.
Requirements
We're Looking for Someone Who:
1. Is entrepreneurial and solution-oriented, with a proven track record of success in IT services management.
2. Possesses exceptional analytical skills and a strong leadership capacity, capable of inspiring and managing a diverse team.
3. Speaks fluent English and Dutch, catering to our international clientele and internal communications.
4. Is committed to a minimum of three years working in Sri Lanka, embracing the local culture and contributing to our long-term vision.
5. Aligns with our familial, entrepreneurial culture, ready to work hard and play hard.
6. You are very interested and/or familiar with IT.
Qualifications:
1. IT savvy and/or experience with IT services.
2. Demonstrated ability in people management, recruitment, and team development.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering customer-centric IT solutions.
