About This Role
This role offers an opportunity to join an international organization that is big enough to take you anywhere, but small enough to get you there sooner. As a Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead, you will be responsible for building capability within teams to improve efficiency using lean methodology on site. You will initiate and govern local projects focused on delivering plant improvement through effective change management.
Your Mission
* Coaching and Mentoring Employees: Provide guidance and support to employees to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
* Creating CI Culture on Site: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by promoting a mindset shift from firefighting to prevention.
* Ensuring Small Project Governance: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of small-scale projects aimed at improving efficiency and productivity.
* Change Management at Site Level: Develop and implement strategies to manage change effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Manage and Lead Plant Improvement Projects at Site Level: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale projects that drive significant improvements in efficiency and productivity.
Challenges/Problem Solving
* Drive CI Culture in Service Center Bornem: Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the Service Center Bornem team.
Authority/Decision Making
* Working Autonomously with Required Level of Plant Manager Support: Make decisions and take actions independently, with support from the Plant Manager as needed.

Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level of Experience
* Lean Thinking

Experience
* Minimum 3 Years of Experience Working Within a Manufacturing (or Similar) Environment
