As a Service Desk Engineer, you are the first point of contact for our customers to answer technical
questions or solve problems, both for DCS’ software and hardware solutions.
You are our organization’s business card, so a “Think Customer First” approach is a must!
What we offer our customers
Our offering consists of fleet management systems (FMS) and services for the management of trucks,
drivers, trailers and cargo. A fleet management solution offers many competitive advantages and helps
companies to save direct and indirect costs. We therefore choose the path of full digitization by offering
additional (digital) services, such as Big Data services and IOT services.
What is your role?
The Service Desk team you will be working in, consists of colleagues in an international environment.
Together, you are responsible of the first- and second-line support for our customers, who are seriously
challenged themselves nowadays. You are also encouraged to participate from time to time in projects that
aim to improve our services. You have strong technical talents or are willing to develop in this area. You get
the opportunity to solve complicated problems: by phone, email or remotely (nationally and internationally).
You show initiative and know how to analyze and prioritize questions from customers. You are a good
listener, have empathy and think in terms of solutions. To that end, you are willing to make an extra effort. If
you are unable to resolve it yourself, you can call upon the knowledge and skills of our specialists within the
Digital Customer Services and, of course, your enthusiastic colleagues.
