We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend experience to help scale up digital tools that support more intelligent, efficient use of natural resources.
💡 What You’ll Do
* Design and develop backend systems using Python and Django
* Build and maintain APIs and data flows that support geospatial and sensor-driven applications
* Use Docker to containerize applications for scalable deployment
* Collaborate with a cross-functional team on system architecture and new features
* Optionally contribute to frontend development (React or similar)
🛠️ Your Profile
* 7+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on backend
* Mastery of Python, Django, and Docker
* Solid experience with API development, relational databases, and cloud environments
* Curious mindset, team player, and driven by purpose
* Experience with DevOps/CI/CD and frontend technologies is a plus
* Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a bonus)
* Based in Belgium – working from Leuven, Ghent, Antwerp, or Gembloux (hybrid)
