About the Associate Position:
As an associate, you have the opportunity to work on complex business problems within a collaborative environment. Associates can expect to work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries. As an associate, you will play a critical role in driving the research, analysis, and strategy of cases. Responsibilities and work experiences may include but are not limited to the following:
1. Identifying key economic issues and developing relevant analytical frameworks
2. Formulating economic and financial models
3. Conducting empirical studies
4. Performing quantitative and qualitative research
5. Collaborating with academic and in-house experts
6. Presenting results of analyses
7. Thinking creatively about how leading-edge analytics and emerging data sources address clients’ most pressing business challenges
8. Coordinating multiple work-streams or analyses within a case team, including both the work product and the team members involved in it
9. Helping companies leverage analytic tools to better manage innovation

Analysis Group fosters a progressive and academically oriented work environment, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration across diverse areas of expertise. Specifically, we seek candidates who have:
10. A graduate degree in economics, finance, or general business, Ph.D. preferred
11. 1-5 years’ of relevant work experience
12. Passion for using data and analytics to solve the economic, financial, and business challenges our clients face
13. Expertise in areas such as price theory, finance, industrial organization, labor economics, health economics, accounting, marketing, survey design, econometrics, market structure, and competition economics
14. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
15. An excellent academic record
16. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team environment and the ability to effectively work independently
17. Excellent attention to detail
18. A desire to continuously learn and develop professionally
19. Excellent command of Dutch and English
