Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse professionals, including pickers, packers, and forklift operators.
2. Conduct daily briefings to communicate operational goals, safety updates, and priorities.
3. Monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and oversee training programs to ensure a high-performing team.
Operations Management
4. Plan, schedule, and execute daily warehouse activities to meet production and shipping deadlines.
5. Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency and productivity.
6. Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate inbound and outbound shipments.
Safety and Compliance
7. Uphold workplace safety standards and company policies.
8. Conduct safety audits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain a hazard-free environment.
9. Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and automotive standards.
Equipment and Facility Maintenance
10. Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyor systems.
11. Collaborate with maintenance teams to address facility issues promptly, minimizing downtime.
Reporting and Documentation
12. Prepare and submit reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
13. Document and communicate operational procedures, ensuring team-wide adherence.
Candidate Profile:
Key Skills and Competencies
14. Strong leadership and team management skills.
15. In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
16. Familiarity with automotive parts and material handling is a strong advantage.
17. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
18. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
19. Highly organized with an acute attention to detail.
20. Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
21. Willing to work in 2 shifts
Qualifications
22. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
23. Proven experience in warehouse supervision, ideally within the automotive industry.
24. Certification in forklift operation and knowledge of safety standards.
