PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development of Crop Sciences GEP Activities in Europe Sales and Customer Contract development Key Account Management as required SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Leading Sales and Development Activity. Identifying existing and future market activities. Identify and approach all sector customers and potential customers. Leading European GEP business focus Attend industry events to promote the services of SGS. Actively promote the image capability and integrity of the company to the Product line Customers. Work with NR Marketing Manager to produce publicity materials and to use global media tools to distribute regular internal and external news. To search for additional opportunities and offer new and increased services to existing/new clients. Key objective: To find new business and increase our revenue activity for this sector. Business and Service Development. Continually strive to find new and improve ways of delivering service to the Regional Customer base. Project manage new and existing clients that require improved or customized services. Work closely with Crop Science Country Business Managers to provide consistent delivery of services across the product lines and regions. Collaborate with International Sales / Business Development Managers to provide one Customer facing Global Team approaching the markets. Identify geographic services gaps and work with Global and Regional Management teams to find new opportunities and implement the full Portfolio Regionally for GEP, including possible acquisitions. Investigate promote and help implement new service innovations. Help to develop regional strategy and Business Development Programs. Work closely with Study Directors Technical Governance and NR Country Business Managers to identify training and operational improvement opportunities in all countries of operation. Help all to work continually on best service solutions to clients (voice of customer supporting). Provide Key Account Management to designated customers who require specific management Act as one window / or key point contact for the client, when required. Provide customized service proposals (with Team Support) as may be required. Troubleshooter / problem solver Standardize commercial approach to Regional Key Accounts Fast Reaction / Availability Statistical data / evaluation of results / ability to present facts to key accounts. Voice of the client in SGS Others Activities Other projects that may be decided from time to time by the Vice President NR Agri Commodities/Crop Sciences.
