Brady is looking to hire a hands-on SAP FICO IT Business Analyst to join our Global Finance IT team in Zele.
About the job:
As a process and business system expert, the SAP IT Business Analyst assists in achieving our top priority business objectives through effective gathering of requirements and thoughtful application of new and existing technology solutions as appropriate. For prioritized work requests, the IT Business Analyst is responsible for analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, documentation, deployment and maintenance of IT capabilities within their areas of expertise (SAP FICO and bolt-ons). The IT Business Analyst also provides support and mentoring for existing IT capabilities according to established processes.
Your main responsibilities will involve:
Maintain an in-depth and current knowledge of processes and applications in area of expertise.
1. Consult with business process managers and super users to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, issues, root cause, impact analysis, data scope, usage, formatting and security requirements.
2. Quickly understand business needs, challenge where needed and translate that understanding into potential solutions/improvements.
3. Discover process/system functionality gaps and derive improvement potentials.
4. Perform feasibility studies/solution reviews with a continued focus on process improvement and ensuring common fit with global business needs.
5. Work with integration team to design data integrations between product tools and systems, assess impact and oversee testing.
6. Liaise as required with third parties regarding development and integration.
7. Create functional/technical specifications and review them with developers/engineers when unable to handle changes with configuration.
8. Document all enhancements, implementations and interfaces (technical and business-level documentation).
9. Develop, coordinate and implement plans to test processes and configuration assuring quality of any additions, changes or deletions to the system.
10. Develop and configure cross-functional solutions and collaborate with SAP IT Business Analysts in other domains.
11. Participate in SAP Rollout projects
12. Provide timely response to super user tickets assisting in problem resolution (helpdesk-role).
13. Communicate process and system changes to super users and business process managers and provide training as necessary.
14. Consistently builds self-help environment culture through interactions with super users, end users, and business managers.
15. Assist with knowledge transfer and training to other Business Analysts as needed.
16. Increase skills and knowledge by interacting with Service Owners, other BA's and external resources.
17. Investigate future system releases, upgrades and enhancements.
18. Other duties assigned as needed.
About you
Minimum Bachelor or University degree in Economics and/or ICT or equivalent by experience.
1. Minimum 8 years of experience as SAP FICO IT Business Analyst with profound knowledge of Finance and Controlling modules in ECC 6.0.
2. Good knowledge of and experience with integration between FICO and SD (MM is a plus)
3. Demonstrated critical thinking and excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

22. Good knowledge of English and Dutch, other languages are a plus.
23. Travel may be required depending upon the phase of a project – our goal is to connect virtually where appropriate.
1. About (Y)our team:
This position reports to the Global IT manager Finance Business Systems, based in Zele (Belgium). The IT Business Analyst works in a team in collaboration with other Business Analysts.
The team-goal is to implement and to configure SAP, to improve and add functionalities and to support SAP users in all Brady sites in order to improve, standardize and automate business processes by using SAP more efficient and effective.
