Purpose and Scope
We are seeking a skilled Troubleshooter to join our team at Alstom, a leading company in the mobility sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting Alstom products at customer sites to ensure their availability.
Main Responsibilities
* Carry out troubleshooting during pre-warranty and commissioning periods, including investigation and repair.
* Perform fleet check activities to identify any issues or deviations.
* Report and register any deviations or failures in the Failure Management database, including configuration data.
* Support the operation helpdesk and apply/enforce Alstom and customer EHS and security rules on customer sites.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Achieve contractual availability targets.
* Characterize K1S/K2/K3 issues on time.
* Ensure completeness and quality of failure/event diagnosis/data recorded in the Defect Management database.
* Maintain the availability of configuration update data.
* Meet audit results (internal and external) requirements.
* Foster customer satisfaction with technical expertise.
* Comply with EHS rules and work-related processes.
Required Competencies
* Certified Technician or Undergraduate degree in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
* Minimum IT knowledge.
* Internal EHS training.
Desirable Skills
* Graduate degree in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
* Native Dutch and fluent in English.
Experience
* Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing experience (> 10 years for Senior position).
* Field experience (> 10 years for Senior position).
* EHS knowledge and exposure.
* Product knowledge.
* Self-government.
