(Sr) Advisor Internal Audit Financial Sector - Zaventem HQ
We are currently looking for an Internal Auditor to join us.
Driven by the desire to be successful in everything you do and thanks to your experience in Internal Audit, you will be able to bring added value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform internal audit assignments in close relationship with an Engagement Manager.
2. Coordinate and review work performed by junior colleagues.
3. Conduct client meetings (kick-off/closing meetings) and interviews.
4. Analyze processes with a focus on (non-financial) risks and controls.
5. Participate in internal audit/risk/compliance workshops.
6. Assist in writing/reviewing draft reports.
7. Maintain quality and timely service delivery.
8. Formulate concise/practical findings, recommendations, and best practices to improve governance, risk and control framework and processes.
9. Assist in business development by writing proposals or giving client presentations.
Skills & Qualifications
1. You have a master’s degree and a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit and/or (non-financial) risk management in the banking/insurance or financial sector (experience as a consultant is a definite plus).
2. You have a good knowledge of the banking/insurance/financial sector regulation.
3. You have excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
4. You have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
5. You are an independent worker with commercial awareness.
6. You are curious with a critical mindset.
7. You have the ability and willingness to challenge and to think 'outside the box'.
8. You are willing to travel occasionally.
