The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for providing technical support for the database environment, including managing the development and organization of databases, evaluating and implementing new technologies, and offering IT strategic insights on how database technology aligns with the companys business goals.
The DBA collaborates with architecture, application development, and operations teams to create a cutting edge environment that meets both current and future business needs. Additionally, the DBA trains and develops technical support and application staff to optimize their use of the online processing database environment, designs tools to aid in database and transaction management, and builds models for capacity assessment and planning within the transaction processing environment.
This MS SQL Server DBA role requires a service oriented mindset. The role also involves establishing and maintaining communication with technology suppliers to keep customers informed on the status of their requests
Role:
You will be responsible for:
* The installation and configuration and maintenance database servers and processes.
* Upgrading, consolidate and migration of databases between MS SQL Servers from a z : preparation execution aftercare. This may be easy setups as well as critical platforms with high availability.
* The management of the different databases in terms of performance, tuning, quality, security, availability and consistency for the MS SQL Server
* Supporting application owners with questions and problems related to the setup and migration of MS SQL databases
* Working out improvement proposals and ensuring the infrastructure is running smooth.
* Suggesting pro actively technical optimalisations.

Profile:
Education:
* Degree: in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field
Experience:
1. At least 2 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
2. First experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization, using monitoring and troubleshooting tools
3. First experience with backups, restores and recovery models, knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL server
4. Proven experience in implementing operational automations u
