Our important client is currently looking for a Senior Front End Developer for a 12- month contract in Brussels.

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications using React. This role requires a mix of technical skills and a commitment to delivering efficient internal applications for traffic management operators.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain front-end applications with a focus on user experience.
• Translate user stories, designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across several web-capable
devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including analysts, architects, product
managers, and backend developers) to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
• At least 6 years of experience in front-end development with React or a similar
component-based framework.
• Knowledge of the MUI library is a plus.
• Knowledge of the React Query library & Redux toolkit is a plus.
• Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3 with BEAM
convention.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Vite and NPM.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical
requirements.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
