Key Responsibilities and Activities
1. Responsible for Group Statutory and Local reporting
2. Leads the external audit and, when necessary, fiscal, and VAT audits
3. Support tax department on a range of topics
4. Credit control, A/R ageing monitoring and dunning letters submission
5. Verifies invoice presence, accuracy and carries out follow-up
6. Checks payment lists and incoming payment postings from Shared Services Center
7. Create requests for SAP postings
8. Runs monthly, quarterly and yearly closure activities
9. Support shared service accounting team
10. Creates Purchase Orders into SAP if necessary, verifying compliance with statutory and fiscal regulations and internal accounting procedures
11. Supports colleagues or external stakeholders’ inquiries
12. Balance sheet reconciliation
13. Maintains the necessary documentation
14. Prepares requested internal and intercompany reports
15. Ensure compliance with internal controls
Experience Required
16. Bachelor in Accounting
17. Experience in FMCG business is a plus

Technical
18. SAP proficiency
19. Clear understanding of accounting logics and principles
20. Knowledge of Belgium tax laws
21. Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
22. Knowledge of electronic workflow invoices managament system
23. Microsoft Office proficiency
24. Fluency in French, Dutch, and English
