As the Product Platform Director, you will oversee the full lifecycle development of electrolyzer products, from defining product requirements to supporting installed solutions. You will lead a multidisciplinary team within the Technology organization, focusing on delivering competitive, safe, durable, and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of platform projects.
* Execute product development initiatives, ensuring quality, timeliness, adherence to product requirements, and budget alignment.
* Develop and manage co-engineering efforts with cross-functional teams.
* Create and oversee the platform budget in collaboration with the finance department, monitoring actuals and forecasts to ensure compliance with financial goals.
* Manage customer and internal stakeholder requirements, ensuring outcomes align with expectations.
* Lead and report on the status of platform projects to stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, directives, local laws, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
* Implement and maintain quality management systems.
* Monitor and manage risks and opportunities throughout the product lifecycle.
* Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and ownership within the project team.
You will collaborate with a diverse, agile, and multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and product specialists. Reporting to the CTO, you will work closely with leaders across the organization to drive product excellence and innovation.
Experience, Knowledge, and Hard Skills:
* Master’s degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, or related engineering fields.
* At least 10 years of experience in product development or manufacturing within an OEM environment, preferably in the energy, aerospace, or automotive sectors. Ideally, this experience includes involvement in the development and launch of new products.
* Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and co-engineering practices.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
* Experience managing budgets and ensuring financial compliance.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of French or other languages is an asset.
