We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a BU Controller. In this position, you will act as a business partner to the BU management team and support the business in achieving strategic objectives, ultimately leading to favorable financial return. You will oversee the business and financial operations and share responsibility for the consolidated BU’s financial performance. In close collaboration with the factories belonging to the BU, you will act in a supportive way and challenge the factory controllers, as well as the full factory managements.
We believe that the controller’s competence is essential; therefore, the BU controller might need to guide, challenge, educate, and sometimes also contribute to problem-solving.
Examples of responsibilities:
* Overall responsible for BU month-end close process and monthly reporting.
* Budget & Forecast Process.
* In collaboration with BU management - drive towards meeting BU’s strategic objectives.
* In line with Global guidance – proactively drive standardization efforts.
Who are you?
To succeed in the position, you enjoy working across multiple entities, functional areas, countries, and nationalities. You are proactive and have a positive mindset, together with great analytical skills and the ability to identify the details crucial for the big picture. You understand the importance of communication and asking the right questions.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar area.
* Minimum of five to ten years of relevant work practice as Controller or Finance Manager.
* Experience from a manufacturing environment.
* Computer literacy and a digital mindset.
* Fluent in English, both oral and written.
* Driving License.
For this position, you can be located in Gothenburg, Kvänum, or Gembloux.
