Position Summary
As our Key Account manager Chains & Hypers, your mission is to maximize the sales of the assigned product portfolio in alignment with division targets, company guidelines, and regulations to achieve optimal results.

Your responsibilities
As our Key Account manager Chains & Hypers, your key responsibilities include:
Key Account management (50%):
1. Relationship building: Develop and maintain strong relationship with key accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction. This includes strategic (annual) and tactical (quarterly) business planning to achieve a trusted advisor relationship.
2. Opportunity focus: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities from new product introductions, end-of-life product cycles, new retail outlet openings, and marketing propositions.
3. Account support: Regularly visit and support active key accounts, negotiate deals, and ensure product availability. Ensure adherence to company guidelines for the product mix.
4. Annual agreements: Formulate annual agreements in consultation with the Sales Manager.
5. Representation: Attend company or account events to represent Samsung, provide product information, and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
Reports & Analyses (15%):
6. Sales Reporting: Create comprehensive sales reports (weekly, quartly, half-yearly, yearly) to provide full insight into the sales process, status, and forecasts.
7. Data Analysis: Analyze turnover data, collect recent marketing information, follow up on aging products, and control invoices. Maintain ongoing analysis of Samsung’s market share in each product group by account.
8. Forecasting: Responsible for accurate forecasting and planning, ensuring adherence to the plan.
Marketing/Brand Awareness (15%):
9. Sales Actions: Suggest innovative sales actions and exceptional discounts to promote new products, within the marketing department’s guidelines.
10. Brand Building: Increase brand awareness among customers to boost sales of Samsung products. Ensure accurate implementation of marketing actions and align them with customer’s marketing plans.
Internal Communication (10%):
11. Collaboration: Work efficiently with the sales team and other departments, including credit and collection, order processing, logistics, legal, extended sales force, marketing, and retail marketing teams.
Budget Management (10%):
12. Budget Allocation: Ensure that the division’s sales budget is strategically spent on focused and agreed items in line with company guidelines.

13. Bachelor/Master degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
14. Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
15. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

17. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market insights to make informed decisions.
18. Understanding the impact of marketing actions on sales performance.
19. A passion for technology, innovation, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
