As part of Belden's Sales organization and within the Customer Innovation Center teams, lead and execute the technical strategy and initiatives defined with the European Sales teams in charge of the Transportation and PTDVerticals. Starting from lead nurturing, the Solution Consultant is a technical partner of Solution Sales during the sales cycle and supports regional organic growth by converting customers ideas and visions into customized One Belden connectivity solutions.________________________________ SOLUTION CONSULTANT________________________________Place: Belgium (Preferably within a commutable distance to Olen (2250))Type: Full-time, hybridLevel: SeniorYou will make an impact in the following way:Drive Belden’s pipeline growth and success rate by developing and delivering outcome-based connectivity solutions for customers in the Transportation and PTD sectors.Provide technical leadership in assigned accounts and complex projects, influencing key decision-makers.Support the sales team in designing high-value RFI/RFQ responses for critical OT WAN and LAN infrastructure projects (Railway, Power Generation, Substations Automation, PTD synchronization).Lead the development of solutions that leverage Belden’s full portfolio of brands and products.Collaborate with the Customer Innovation Center (CIC) Solution Support and Services team in the development and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and network audits.Stay ahead of industry trends, demonstrating solid knowledge of key networking technologies, market dynamics, and competitor solutions.Provide future-focused technical insights to enable project wins and foster long-term customer loyalty.Design and support technology campaigns, including webinars, roadshows, and trade fairs.Represent the customer’s voice in business unit strategy and new product introduction processes.Share market insights with Sales, Product Management, and RD teams to shape customer and vertical market propositions.Document and share knowledge of remarkable solution concepts and approaches.What you will bring:Extensive technical expertise – 10+ years of experience in solution creation within an industrial environment, particularly in OT networking technologies.Networking and telecommunications knowledge – Proven experience with WAN technologies such as IP/MPLS or MPLS-TP.Educational background – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT/OT, Telecommunications, or Networking); a Master’s degree is preferred.Sales and business acumen – Experience working within a sales-driven role in an international, matrix-style organization.Strategic and analytical mindset – Ability to translate complex technical information into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.Collaboration skills – Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams.Flexibility and adaptability – Willingness to travel across Europe (up to 50%) and work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.Language skills – Fluency in French and English is required; Dutch is a strong plus.Let’s Write the Next 100 Years Together.
