ACENSI is looking for a Cost monitoring, Optimization & Controlling Business Partnering for one of their clients based in Brussels
About the Role
In summary this covers :
▪ Cost Monitoring, Optimization & Controlling – Work in conjunction with Finance team, department heads and CxOs to steer the Cost Monitoring and Controlling processes for OPEX and non-OPEX costs and to foster cost control mindset within the organization
▪ Business Partnering – Support business counterparts (CxOs) in pursuit financial targets and ensure maximum profitability
Key Responsibilities
▪ Develop detailed technical designs
▪ Cost Monitoring, Optimization & Controlling
▪ Steer the monthly Cost Monitoring process for OPEX and non-OPEX costs with all internal stakeholders (Finance team, Business teams), and ensure efficient and timely delivery of cost monitoring reports towards the Business (actuals vs budget, forecasts & expected landing)
▪ Similarly, steer the quarterly Cost Controlling process for OPEX and non-OPEX costs. Ensure cost opportunities are identified and corrective scenarios on relevant scopes are developped in close cooperation with Business
▪ Align with existing transversal cost optimization programs, to ensure maximum impact of all programs (transversal impact tracking and alignment with budget)
▪ Proactively support improvements of underlying processes & tools used for Cost Monitoring and Controlling
Business Partnering
▪ Based on the results of the Cost Monitoring & Controlling: communicate, discuss, and challenge financial impacts with the Business (cost centers stakeholders and decision makers)
▪ Together with Business, identify performance issues and makes recommendations to cost centers owners for remedial actions and follows up their results, in order to respect yearly budget
▪ More generally, support Business by bringing financial mindset/view to improve business performance
Technical Skills
▪ You have a Master or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
▪ 5-8 years’ relevant work experience within Insurance or Bank industry preferred
▪ Knowledge of ERP software experience, preferably SAP
▪ You ideally have a background in audit
▪ Excellent analytical and computer skills especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Language Requirements
▪ French: Professional working proficiency
▪ Dutch: Professional working proficiency
▪ English: Full professional proficiency
