Mission:
At SABCA Limburg, we are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be the internal expert for various production processes across our entire plant. Your mission is to support the operational departments in ensuring on-time delivery to customers, improving processes, and maintaining high-quality standards while reducing operational costs.
Responsibilities
* Act as the point of contact for various production processes related to the manufacturing of composite parts.
* Actively support operational departments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
* Apply problem-solving methods to eliminate quality issues and optimize process efficiency.
* Perform First Article Inspection (FAI).
* Introduce, monitor, and maintain process control to improve cost and quality.
* Implement and maintain visual management on the production floor.
* Improve and implement 5S practices.
* Develop and implement work instructions.
* Assess, evaluate, and implement changes in engineering definitions and specification requirements.
* Maintain and update internal procedures and instructions.
* Take responsibility at their level regarding the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard.
Profile
Education:
* Master’s degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering (specialization in Electromechanics, Mechanics, Materials, Aerospace, or a related field).
Experience:
* At least 3 years of experience in production, engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
* Background in aerospace or aviation is a strong plus.
* Experience with composite materials and composite manufacturing processes is an advantage.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of Lean tools such as 5S, visual management, flow, and value stream mapping is a plus.
* Familiarity with APQP/PPAP processes is an advantage.
* Detail-oriented and results-driven.
* Fluent in Dutch and English.
* Knowledge of EN9100 quality standards and ISO 14001 environmental standards.
* Basic experience with CAD software, preferably Catia and AutoCAD.
