Your Impact
As a project manager you will be deployed on internal projects or for our clients: banks, government institutions, manufacturing organizations, hospitals, ... You will be responsible for the smooth running and delivery of infrastructure and digital workplace projects. You draw up a project schedule and keep a clear overview of the steps to be taken, you can discuss the technical and functional requirements and anticipate possible challenges. You manage customer expectations and translate their needs into project goals. You conduct project evaluations and feedback interviews. In addition, you manage the project team, keeping them focused on achieving results in terms of quality, budget, deadlines and scope. Furthermore you enjoy motivating employees, you know how to create a team spirit and you like helping people grow. You therefore know how to identify the needs and requirements of the various stakeholders and are able to work from a people minded perspective.
Where you're going to get started
The Service Experience & Excellence practice within BPS (Business Platform Services) consists of consultants and experts who mainly fulfill roles such as Service Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Transition Manager and IT Process Facilitator. Our SEE team keeps a finger on the pulse of our clients and ensures quality in and delivery of IT contracts and projects. We guide improvement processes and focus on absolute customer satisfaction.
This is you
1. You have at least 2 years of experience in project management of infrastructure or digital workplace projects
2. You can prepare requirement analyses, distinguishing between user vs. technical requirements
3. You have experience in managing and supervising teams
4. You know the basic principles of ITIL & Agile
5. Any certification in project management is a plus, e.g. Prince2
6. Or you have notion of infrastructure technologies such as Azure, cloud, firewalls, VmWare, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Windows Servers
7. Or you have notion of digital workplace tools of M365 (Office 365, SharePoint and/or Skype for Business
8. You work systematically, independently and result-oriented
9. You are a real people manager: you enjoy motivating employees, creating team spirit and helping people grow
10. You have strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills: you are able to draw the right conclusions and determine a well-considered approach, adapted to the needs of the customer
11. You are able to keep an overview, assess risks and escalate if necessary
12. You have strong communication skills, both written and oral
13. You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
