Position
1. Develop and enhance the IT strategy together with the mateco management team to ensure that appropriate architecture, software, systems, processes and organization are in place to support the current and anticipated growth of mateco.
2. Be responsible for the management of the different IT departments: Product Development, Architecture and Technology, Infrastructure & Operations and ePMO. Manage the continued roll-out and maintenance of standard technologies and processes as well as managing security. This with a strong focus on the further roll-out and optimization of the new Q.one platform (ERP Dynamics and own developed applications).
3. Further build on the pillars of the IT strategy: One Delivery Organization, One Demand Organization and One IT Architecture.
4. Develop and maintain an appropriate organizational structure by assessing, developing, retaining, and recruiting IT talent. Organize and manage the IT team, governance, and activities by ensuring proper planification of IT resources to answer business needs.
5. Report to the CFO of the group. The IT organization has been embedded into a separate company, mateco Belgium, managed by the CIO.
Profile
6. You combine a masters degree and have a proven track record as an IT Manager / CIO.
7. Based on your personality and your technical knowledge you are a trusted sparring partner.
8. You have strong leadership skills and are a critical challenger for your team. You are change oriented and have the ability to inspire and motivate staff and maintain alignment with the business strategy.
9. You have strong business acumen.
10. You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
11. You work from the mateco office in Waregem and are flexible for international travel (20%).
