We currently have a vacancy for a Java Application Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
* Data analysis, data modeling, analysis, and design of the integration of different information systems;
* Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
* Analysis, design, and implementation of services and components in a service-oriented architecture;
* Provision of technical expertise, feasibility/risk/impact analysis, and evaluations about information systems, along with provision of security assessments and solutions associated with information systems;
* Review, evaluate, and test applications and third-party components to ensure integration with the other application components and compliance with the requirements and standards;
* Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
Requirements
o University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
o Minimum 3 years of experience with the following: UML, Java, SQL, SOAP, and Git;
o Experience in JAVA (JEE) technology, Spring, and Angular;
o Experience with APIs, such as XSD, SOAP, JAX-WS, JAXB, JAX-RPC;
o Experience with Message Oriented Middleware/Enterprise Service Bus technologies;
o Experience with modern UI paradigms;
o Experience with unit and integration testing and automatic testing frameworks, as well as CI/CD and integration tools like Jenkins, and Sonar;
o Experience with the following technologies: XML, HTML, IntelliJ, JPA, Maven, CSS, Scrum, JSON, PL-SQL, Hibernate, REST API, JavaScript, Google Cloud computing, React, Tomcat, WSDL, BPMN, Eclipse/Workshop 10.3, Ant, SoapUI;
o Experience in object-oriented design and development, reusable components design and development;
o Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns, applications design, and modeling tools;
o Good knowledge of Relational DBMS and business process analysis;
o Good knowledge of microservices, architecture in the cloud, and RESTful paradigms;
o Good knowledge of relational databases management like Oracle and SQL, along with experience with WS SOAP development on Oracle Web Logic application server and with Oracle middleware products (SOA Suite);
o Knowledge of interoperability technology, like web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, and event architecture;
o Excellent command of the English language.
