To strenghten our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) team and to support several projects on site for a client in the region of Mechelen, PM Group is currently looking forward to a "Senior Indirect Procurement Buyer".

Our department OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) supports our clients with consultants working on site on basis of project staffing.
Responsibilities
You will be member of the team which supports stakeholders across all regions with their main focus being on core spend categories such as Facilities, Supplies and Services and Energy, Supply Chain, Digital and others.
The Indirect procurement Buyer will be responsible for local stakeholder management & supplier performance management and responsible for supporting local/markets stakeholders by engaging in key internal or external stakeholder discussions, routing requests to S&ES team members and for managing tactical supplier performance process & supplier development programs to maximize value for the stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
· Local Stakeholder Management
· Contribute to implementing sourcing strategies that support business objectives and deliver value
· Support Sourcing strategies that align with company goals and objectives based on business requirements
received from internal stakeholders, including business leaders and cross-functional teams
· Support the execution of initiatives that optimize costs through local sourcing
· Identify and evaluate local suppliers, negotiate favorable pricing, and track cost savings achieved
· Contribute to the initiatives on process improvement to achieve cost savings, increased productivity,
and enhanced supplier performance
· Perform analysis of spend data to identify cost savings opportunities and develop strategies to optimize
procurement processes
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and
services while maintaining quality standards
· Support supplier performance process to maximize value for the stakeholders
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
* Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
* Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in sourcing & procurement
* Business English required, fluent in Dutch
* Strong negotiation & negociation skills
* Knowledge of working on cross-functional projects
* Ability to coordinate business operations, client engagement and customer relationship management
* Ability to support collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as operations, finance, and legal teams, to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
* Experience in identification of local suppliers, supporting negotiation for favorable pricing, and tracking cost savings
* Ability to build material for presenting to executive leadership
* Experience in developing and maintaining documentation related to procurement activities, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, and delivery reports
* Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
* Comfortable operating in environment with ambiguity & changing market conditions
Preferred qualifications:
* Certifications preferred: CPSM, CPM, PMP, MCIP
* Awareness of business & S&ES strategic priorities
* Basic knowledge of the supplier landscape (by category as relevant)
* Basic knowledge of procurement practices & supplier evaluation methodologies
* Knowledge of analytical skills and comfort with standard analytical methods and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Access), proficiency in PowerPoint, and other relevant software
* Basic understanding of TPRM Knowledge Experience
* Experience in monitoring supplier performance, tracking metrics, quality, and compliance
* Experience of conducting market research to identify potential suppliers
* Experience of maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
* Experience in tracking supplier SLA compliance
