About the job
As a Category Manager, reporting to the Head of Category Management, your primary focus will be on analyzing market data and trends to optimize the performance of our client's brands .
Responsibilities include:
4. Analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
5. Developing and executing category strategies to drive sales and profitability.
6. Collaborating closely with Key Account Managers to optimize product assortment, pricing, and availability.
7. Participating in retailer meetings to build successful trade stories for the brands.
8. Building and preparing monthly reporting for HQ in Italy.
9. Planning and executing promotional campaigns to drive category sales and market share.
About the ideal candidate
10. You have relevant working experience in analyzing market data, consumer trends, and sales performance (knowledge of Nielsen Panels is a strong plus).
11. You possess a good understanding of the FMCG industry and the retailer landscape in the Benelux market.
12. You are comfortable effectively communicating category strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
13. Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is required.
