As Project Manager, you will collaborate with the engineering team in the definition of new projects for industrial gases.
1. You are responsible for defining the complete project scope and defining the project cost, schedule, and execution of the project.
2. You work closely with the engineering team to keep the best solution for the customer and ensure that the project is delivered within the planned time, scope, and budget.
3. You have project management responsibility from definition to project delivery and follow the construction of the plant.
4. In collaboration with the purchasing department and suppliers, you ensure that all required resources are available in a timely manner.
5. You coordinate the activities of the internally assigned Project Team as well as contractors, report and escalate issues to management and operational teams as needed, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and/or cost.
6. You will report to the Director Project Execution & Proposals.
7. You hold a technical Master's degree (Chemistry, Mechanics, or Electricity) and have at least 10 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management in the chemistry or related industry.
8. PMI Certification is desired.
9. You combine your professional knowledge and experience with a high level of enthusiasm and energy.
10. You have strong communication skills in English and have knowledge of at least one other European language (Dutch, French, Spanish...).
11. Your strong interpersonal and organizational skills will come in handy when coaching your project team and interacting with the Nippon Gases business and operational groups throughout the different project phases.
12. Working in an international environment is a challenge for you, and you are willing to make business trips abroad.
13. You are a strong team player, innovative, proactive, customer-oriented, and value safety.
