Overview
The Perfect Store Lead is a key contributor within the organization/DX (Demand Acceleration) department and will support the Perfect Execution Lead and the DX Lead BeLux to embed the Voice of the Customer in our Integrated Planning process and in the creation of advantaged execution blueprints ensuring that we have a vision for the Perfect Store in every channel for the snacks category. The Perfect Store Lead delivers the perfect store journey and execution blueprints to support channel specific strategies and the flawless execution of our commercial plans.
The Perfect Store Lead will be responsible for developing bespoke solutions to support our Perfect Store visions and the development and identification of additional growth initiatives. The PS Lead will translate the defined perfect store journeys into engaging channel specific selling stories, together with the customer engagement manager.
The Perfect Store Lead reports to the Dx Lead Belux and collaborates closely with his/her stakeholders within all commercial departments (marketing, insights, catman, shopper mkt, sales, perfect execution) and with sector.
Functionally the PS Lead supports the development of cross channel snacks (Salty & Nuts) specific perfect store journeys for the Belux and steers the business based on clear & measurable execution standards within a complex matrix environment.
He/She will work closely together with the analytics department and the perfect execution manager and perfect execution analyst to develop actionable (non financial) scorecarding to track performance versus the defined MWB’s (Must Win Battle) and support business steering fora.
The PS Lead supports cross channel specific governance and works closely with the sales department on the implementation and execution of the specific strategies
The PS Lead supports the AOP (Annual Operating Planning) development of the snacks category (cross channel) on perfect store journeys in close collaboration with Category Management, Marketing, Revenue management, Perfect execution and Sales to secure the right initiatives to drive our cross channel ambition for the snacks category.
Responsibilities
Some specific activities incorporated into this role are as follows:
1. Development of Belux Snacks specific perfect store journeys and execution standards, based on the PS framework including clear & actionable MWB scorecarding icw analytics team
2. Identifies channel growth opportunities & execution standards to deliver them
3. Embed in-store execution standards, according to the levers of the SVO (shopper value offer) across the snacks Category for Integrated Planning, Shopper Marketing, Field Execution, and Sales & Category Management
4. Leading the channel specific execution governance for BE and key contributor within the commercial governance process
5. Own & embed VOC (Voice of the customer) inputs in strategy and initiative development, including instore location recommendation, dealing recommendations, case size
6. Support team to build the Critical Execution Enablers that allow the process to be realised a) from / to planograms, must stock ranges, PPP guidelines etc. b) kit infrastructure to deliver execution vision and c) granular tracking / score carding
7. Collaborate with commercial leaders to ensure that integrity of blueprints are maintained as they are executed across channels.
8. Ensure that in store solutions are viable and representative of what is needed to drive brand and customer objectives.
9. Leading team to understand Scorecard tracking, ROI of plans; facilitate course correction and identify capabilities/performance gaps.
10. Interaction on perfect store KPI’s with field team via perfect execution manager & Follow up of performance of perfect store KPI’s by the field team via perfect execution manager & analyst
Qualifications
11. University degree: Master Degree in Business/Marketing/ Market Research
12. Experience and in-depth understanding of both execution and strategy development
13. Ability to deal with ambiguity and stakeholder management are key
14. Understanding of analytical tools and knowledge of statistics
15. Digitally Savvy, knowledgeable of the latest trend in shopper & consumer research
16. Fluent English
