Job Title: Automotive Sales Manager
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Level/Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 (Commission and Bonuses)
Position Type: Full Time
Phil Long Honda of Glenwood Springs is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join one of Colorado's premier Automotive Groups. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of sales management experience. Please join us in building and representing our brand.
Responsibilities
1. Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and enhance the sales process.
2. Review and control vehicle inventory by working closely with the General Manager.
3. Develop and initiate a plan to meet departmental sales and profit objectives.
4. Structure car deals.
5. Oversee the arrangement of displays. Ensure that the lot is clean, orderly in appearance and safe for employees and customers.
6. Build rapport with customers to establish a customer network.
7. Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals.
8. Help manage all other aspects of the sales department.
9. Desk deals, track gross logs and RDR cars.
Qualifications
1. Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
2. Three to five years prior sales management experience preferred.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Knowledge of all aspects of automotive retailing including inventory control.
5. Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM).
6. Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
7. Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
8. Valid Driver License.
9. State Sales License.
