The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Risk & Compliance expert to join our dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of Atlas Copco Power Technique. As an expert, your role will involve working closely with key stakeholders globally to advocate best practices and ensure compliance in IT topics, audit findings, Business Continuity, Digital Risk Management, and Data Privacy for all Power Technique entities. You will play a pivotal role in driving the next steps to guarantee a stable and seamless digital journey for our organization.
In this role, successful integration within the team is crucial, requiring the ability to share knowledge effectively with colleagues across diverse cultures worldwide. Interaction with various personalities and organizational levels is essential, as you will be tasked with evangelizing best practices and persuading individuals to adopt them. The role demands the capability to handle pressure and diligently follow up on risks until resolution. Efficient planning and organizing skills are a must

Who are we?
We are PT-IT (Power Technique - Information Technology), which delivers services to the Power Technique (PT) business area of Atlas Copco and its divisions around the world. The department operates from the Power Technique (PT) headquarters located in Antwerp, Belgium. PT-IT was founded in and employs about +20 people internally together with consultants and the shared IT Services organization to support our entities all over the world.
What we expect of you?
1. University master’s degree or high school degree in in a Business management, Engineering or IT discipline relevant to the job or similar through work experience.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Governance, risk, and compliance.
3. Proven track record implementing Business Continuity plans and conducting Disaster Recovery Planning/Testing.
4. Demonstrated experience with industry security standards and frameworks such as COBIT, ISO /2, SANS, NIST CSF.
5. Basic knowledge or a strong interest in Data privacy (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.).
6. Certification in IT risk management, Data privacy, or Governance of Enterprise IT (COBIT, CRISC, CISA, CISM, or CISSP) is a strong benefit.
7. Experience working in an international context with diverse cultures and teams.
8. Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
10. Flexibility, resilience, accuracy, and hands-on approach to set priorities and manage deadlines.
11. Excellent English proficiency; additional languages (e.g., Dutch) is a plus.
